Boss CS-1. SOLD

---> Video demo! <---

Ok some facts...

-Silver screw.
-DAMN mint.
-Serial number #7***
-Rare and collectible.

This is the first Compression/Sustainer pedal released from Boss. It builds on the lagacy of the Roland AS-1. Like all compression pedals it reduces the output of sounds over a set threshold relative to the strength of the input signal, making levels consistent and improving sustain. In the CS-1 this is done by means of photocouplers. The later CS-2 and CS-3 used VCA's (Voltage Controlled Amplifier) to create the same effect. The sound of the CS-1 is thus very different from its successors.

Xotic RC Booster. SOLD

Needs introduction ka?

The Xotic RC Booster is the ultimate silent weapon for your pedalboard. It gives you over 20dB of clean boost, which could help in many applications such as increasing your signal over a long stretch of cables. The Xotic RC Booster has a two band active EQ, providing +/- 15dB for Bass and Treble. Active electronics offers a wide range of possibilities because you can cut or boost either frequency! The RC Booster can push an amp into overdrive with the massive amount of output or add some dirt with the Gain control. Whichever application you use, your original tone will maintains it's integrity and transparency due to the high quality components and true bypass switching.

By connecting this pedal between your guitar and other effect pedals, this sustains the original guitar sound all the way to amp as well as emphasizing any effects sound characteristics. This pedal also acts as a buffer that helps to fight against signal degradations caused by long cables as well as electromagnetically noisy condition.

The RC Booster's Gain control has characteristic of a clean tube amp and, by fine turning it, you can create a bold and smooth sound which resembles the sound of amp with turned up volume. Equipped with not only boost Gain but also Treble and Bass controls that allow you to adjust sound anyway you like.

True bypass for eliminating any signal interference when it is switched out. All hand wired and hand crafted in the U.S.A. Can be used with AC adaptor (optional) or 9V Battery.
The RC Booster, while voiced similarly to the AC Booster, has characteristics all it's own. Like the sound of your amp, but it's missing just a little edge? This is your cure. The RC Booster's designed to take you over the top, but with style! A low volume/high gain setting produces bluesy, warm overdrive that will make your mouth water. This pedal really shines when you up the volume all the way and back off the gain. This produces a subtle lead boost that will add harmonically rich tones to your tube amp. Sparkling like fresh mountain spring water, the RC Booster will take your amp to the next level.

  • Dual 12AX7 tubes

-The compressor is great, specially for adding sustain and fattness. GREAT. Don't be fooled cause it's built in. Make no mistake, this is actually a high end compression unit.
-The EQ is very interesting and has a really WIDE RANGE. Altough adding a regular Mids control would make it perfect (and I mean PERFECT).
-The Clean sounds are Pristine, truly BEAUTIFUL and ORGANIC. Cool!
-The distortion: the drive knob is short of gain, you'd like to add the Mid-Boost, Flat Boost or a bit of Comp that this pedal/preamp has available. Overall: you can get saucy crunchy and lead sounds of it wich can be sophisticated or raw. In laymen's term = MARSHALL IN A BOX. SCREW the Crunchbox, Purpleplexi etc.

Adapter, and manual is included. Just in case you noobs don't know how to tweak it.

Digitech Whammy 4. SOLD!

Boot-leg Gain Helper. SOLD!

Need to give that 'in your face' lead instantly? Where else to look for?

Boot-leg, the mystery pedal company that we hear all the time. Boot-leg is a subsidiary under ESP Japan for your information.
Workshop is in Osaka and Tokyo. What is so special about boot-leg pedals? 1.Handmade, 2.True bypass. The pedal is very well built, serious work. All the electronic work and components are very clean. No defect. Great "boutique" job. When active, very low noise, the boost is very significant, the tone is not colored. Very true tone. Built like a tank. You can get rich overdrive sounds simply by itself, or you can maximize the performance of your guitar material and pickups with using it as a secret flavor.
  • GHP-1.0 is designed to adjust the amp gain or the body sound which is easily affected by weather conditions, and so modest setting will give you the best effect.
  • This "Gain Helper" can be used in any situations. You can get rich overdrive sounds simply by itself, or you can maximize the performance of your guitar material and pickups with using it as a secret flavor.
  • The sound is just between fuzz and overdrive, like the speaker corn making "Biri-Biri" sound when you give the boost gain into the amp input. It's easy to adjust the sound color, because the distortion ratio is controlled to be modest.
  • The innovative circuit design doesn't rely on so-called the diode clipper. You are free from high-drop or low-drop to get all sounds from a complete clear tone to a comfortable crunch.
  • When you play in clear tone, add bright taste controlling your pickup signal itself. When you play in drive tone, add richness and sustain.
  • Although picking technique is required, as "Gain Helper" has its name, it will help all the gain for all types of music, such as blues, jazz, fusion, hard rock, etc.

    MXR Carbon Copy. SOLD

Well well, what do we got here? 2 BRAND NEW units of MXR Carbon Copy. To those who do not know what is Carbon Copy, here is a brief introduction.

It's an analog delay pedal with up to 600ms of slapback (tone purists do not need more than that). Everytime I play with it, it reminds me of David Gilmour's ghostly delay. The mod button mimics the 'feel' of a tape echo unit running through the tapes.

Now, you might think DM2 is better. Well, it doesn't go as high as 600ms for sure. The noise isn't that strong on this. Why don't you try? Guitarkaki's choice of Delay for 2008.
